The Lord truly did beyond what we could have imagined as we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Sophia Kyla Dennis into the world after many long hours of labor that couldn’t quite get her out, via c-section at 12:28am, September 1, 2013 weighing 6lb 14 oz and 18 inches long! She flooded our ears with sweet cries that brought music to our hearts. We celebrated her birthday today with our family and close friends and then celebrated her spiritual birthday as she entered into the arms of Jesus around 10:45am this morning. The Lord did things a lot differently than we hoped or expected but in the midst of our joy and grief He has been holding us in the palm of His hands. At a later point, we will share more about God’s sweetness to us as we waited for her birth and then got to spend 10 incredibly precious hours with our sweet daughter. Truly God has been good to us and we are praising Him as we enter into the throws of grief. Please be praying for us during this time. As we make plans for Sophie’s life celebration we will send out details and are looking forward to continuing this sweet celebration that her life has been!
