I love sharing the story of God’s faithfulness in our lives in the midst of great loss. But our story is simply a backdrop to a greater story being written that we play just a small part of. This is what I speak on, the greater story being written, the Hope that is being forged in our lives in the midst of the disappointment, pain and brokenness we often experience. I speak on how God is drawing us to Himself in the midst of our suffering and what it looks like to surrender our life to His ways above our own. Using the word of God, these are the threads that I weave into most topics I am given through my own story. I have spoken at universities, women’s conferences and simple gatherings in a quiet living room. Perhaps my favorite part about speaking is the lives I get to intersect with, if only for a few moments at each event. I count it a great privilege to get to speak, but an even greater privilege to get to know the many amazing men and women I have gotten to meet as I speak!
