What a celebration 31 weeks became! ย I don’t know if our bodies can keep up with all the celebrating, but I think we’re learning that as parents you can muster up energy from the most unlikely of places when it’s for your child! ย (Don’t worry, we are getting rest and these celebrations have been so so worth it!)
SEAWORLD!!!!
We were given tickets to Seaworld from some friends, Matt and Jen Fox for Sophie’s 29th week but weren’t able to go until this past Friday. ย We wanted to wait until we had a full day available because Seaworld deserves a lot more time and I’m slightly obsessed with the Shamu show and had to let Sophie see it at least twice. ย I’m convinced that was her favorite (like mother, like daughter) because she was quite active through both of those shows. ย We decided to end the day sitting in the splash zone for the Shamu show and we laughed and screamed like kids as we got soaking wet! ย It was such a sweet day in the midst of a full week, where we had begun to step into some heavier things with decisions with Sophie. ย It was so fun to be able to get away and just enjoy lots of water and sea animals and introduce Sophie to one of my greatest loves… dolphins. ย We even got to feed the dolphins and pet them!
ANIMAL KINGDOM ADVENTURES WITH NEMO and friends!
For Sophie’s 31st week our sweet friend Jennafer arranged a fun day at animal kingdom with VIP seating at the Festival of the Lion King and Nemo Show. ย Along with that it just so happened that I was picked to lead our section in the elephant call (yes, totally embarrassing, but that’s what you do for your kids… proudly embarrass yourself). ย It was a fun and relaxing day where we just enjoyed more animals with our sweet Sophie!
What a celebration Sophie’s 31st week ended up being and we loved every second of it! ย Thanks to all those who made it possible and keep celebrating with us!
