Well, here it is! My upgraded Vapor and Mist site that I’m so excited to introduce you to! I never thought a website design would excite me but watching this one unfold has been so fun and lets be honest also a lot more work then I even realized! You’ll find everything that was on my other site here, in slightly different places along with some new things. So here’s a little overview of where the old things are, what’s new and what things you can anticipate finding in the coming days and weeks ahead! SO WHERE IS EVERYTHING NOW?
You’ll see the stories for each of our kids under the “Our Family Journey” tab or scroll to the bottom of the Home page. This has been the most exciting part of this website for me, seeing the lives of our girls continue to be honored and their stories told in a way that I think will be much more accessible to people, and lets be honest accessible to me. I love going back and watching their videos, reading what God had written on my heart and being reminded of moments and events that have become less vivid in my mind.
If you’re looking for the playlists, they are now on each of the girls’ pages if you scroll all the way to the bottom with easy links to listen, view and purchase! If you just want to see photos of their lives click on their galleries and more photos will show up! Their videos are now super easy to view right at the top of each of their pages. And can I just say their pages are beautiful and I love getting to share their lives with you!
If you are looking for Resources on grief or carrying to term you can find them laid out in a very simple format on my Resource Page. You’ll see my reviews of each resource along with easy links to purchase books and find websites that are relevant to those walking through grief and loss or carrying to term a child with a fatal diagnosis.
WHAT’S NEW?
I think you already know a lot about me, but i’ve included a little more of my backstory, what I do, why I write and speak and my heart for this site on the Home page. You can also Connect with me via email and various social media platforms a whole lot easier then before. And while I love sharing with you my story, I also love hearing and connecting with yours so please share your story with me!
Jaden has his own page and in the coming weeks I’ll be sharing our adoption story, our journey to Jaden in a 4 part series. Many of you have asked about our adoption journey and I’m so excited to share with you how God called us to adopt, the ins and outs of the details of adoption… what exactly is a home study?? And how God led us to new places of surrender on our journey to Jaden.
A speaking page! I’ve had many friends who have wanted to hear some of the past talks I’ve given, including when I spoke in Australia. I’ve included my first talk The Forging of Hope between the here and the not yet along with a seminar I gave on grief that you can find on my new Speaking page, along with a few other talks I’ve given! I also have a simple request form on the bottom should you be interested in having me come speak!
Categories and Tags. How is that new you may wonder? Well, lets just say that most of my categories and tags on my previous site were arbitrary and I had no idea the difference between the two! So, at the encouragement of my friend Brandon, who designed this site every post is now in just 1 category with several tags. And I think I’ve now learned the difference between the two. That said, it is much easier to find related articles and topics that I think may interest you! (Well, I hope it is anyways). You’ll find the categories and tags on the right hand side on my blog page!
A new logo inspired and designed by my brother Dan! I’ll share some backstory to why I chose it and the story behind it tomorrow!

COMING UP
I’ll be continuing my Morning Meditations, beginning this Monday and sharing my September book reviews (I do realize it’s almost the end of October, will work on the timing of these. Ha.). As I share about our Journey to Jaden, I’ll continue letting you in on the current realities of life, the wrestlings of my heart and how God is continuing to bring hope and healing in our hearts and lives on this journey of life! I’m so grateful for each of you that have been a part of our journey so far, celebrating the lives of our kids, praying for us and allowing God to take the broken pieces of our lives and use them in your own. It’s such a privilege to welcome you into my life and to be welcomed into yours!
